Woodbridge, VA, April 7, 2016 – MAG is pleased to announce that they have joined Angel Flight of the Mid-Atlantic region to donate flights for those in need of medical care. To date MAG has donated ten angel flights with our biggest trip being a series of flights for a six-year-old girl from outside Richmond, Virginia. We flew her to Atlantic City where we meet up with another aircrew who continues flying her up to Boston for her medical treatments.

“The Angel Flight experience is rewarding to us knowing we are helping families in need and to bring a bit of the enjoyment of flying in the process,” said Allen Hetzell, Chief Pilot for MAG Aerospace, who has donated his time flying for Angel Flight on behalf of MAG.

Angel Flight Mid-Atlantic provides medical air transport for patients in the Mid-Atlantic region to ensure that no patient in need is denied access to distant specialized medical evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, or rehabilitation for lack of a means of long-distance medical air transportation.
