Since MAG was formed, it was based on providing a strategic advantage with Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) technology on the battlefield.

Effective Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) can save time, resources, and most importantly, lives. MAG is the premier provider of turnkey C5ISR services, with our mission to make the world smaller and safer. See why airborne ISR systems are so critical for military and intelligence success:

The Advantage of Airborne ISR Technology

The Air Force has long recognized the logistical and tactical advantages of “globally integrated ISR”. These systems and solutions have aided missions in identifying and assessing threats and targets with greater accuracy – saving many lives in the process.

In 2023, the Air Force will focus on “Revitalizing integration of ISR at the Squadron Level – Air, Space, and Cyber’ through its ISR Research Task Force, looking for ways to increase “operational agility” and incorporate AI technology into ISR operations. This has been the focus for MAG since inception. The Department of Defense (DoD) has prioritized the strategy of looking to private industry for technological advancements that are mission ready.

For NATO, the perspective is similar:

Joint intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (JISR) is vital for all military operations. It provides decision-makers and action-takers with a better situational awareness of the conditions on the ground, in the air, at sea, in space and in the cyber domain.”

The United States’ role in NATO is well documented with the importance of C5ISR technology coming in to focus from the current geopolitical turmoil and ongoing warfare.

MAG has recently made investments to address the escalating near-peer threat environment by expanding our ISR integration, collection, and intelligence processing and dissemination capabilities to apply them to missionizing business jet aircraft. These capabilities enable our military forces to execute A-ISR operations at much greater speeds, duration, and altitude, which significantly increases mission effectiveness.

Outside of international conflict and the need for a strong national defense, how else does airborne ISR technology meet humanitarian and security challenges? Within our borders, FEMA uses aerial surveillance to assess damage after natural disasters, and C5ISR solutions are a critical asset in search and rescue operations.

In addition, C5ISR technology can be implemented to analyze severe weather patterns and systems, conduct environmental or agricultural research, or aid firefighters in combatting wildfires. The U.S. Border Patrol utilizes airborne ISR systems to protect our nation’s borders and combat drug and human trafficking.

    • Electro-optical infra-red (EO/IR) full motion video (FMV)
    • LIDAR
    • Synthetic aperture radar (SAR)
    • Hyperspectral imagery (HSI)
    • Signals intelligence (SIGINT)
    • Maritime patrol surface search radar
  • Data Exploitation using COTS and GOTS intelligence analysis systems and methods
  • Intelligence Dissemination services using COTS and GOTS communications systems and protocols

Flight Systems, Operations, and Controls for ISR Missions

We provide state of the art flight systems and controls for both manned and unmanned aerial vehicles with solutions that include traditional radar, GPS-based technologies, or a combination of both. Our support is an added value, making sure that our systems are seamlessly integrated with the aircraft.

We leverage our global presence to operate platforms or assist customers with operating and maintaining their aircraft and flight programs. Our goal is successful mission completion while increasing safety and operational efficiencies.

airborne ISR trainingISR Training & Simulation

Our in-house ISR Training Center (ISRTC) or Mobile Training Teams provide training on manned and unmanned aerial platforms for the federal government, commercial, allied governments, and international intergovernmental organizations. We are platform agnostic and utilize innovative techniques with most modern simulators and sensors. Our added strength comes from world-class instructors who are seasoned ISR professionals and who provide in-depth instruction.

Airborne Sensors

We deliver versatile, custom aerial sensor solutions, which are available to both federal and commercial clients. We offer a proven track record of researching, designing, and developing, and integrating cutting-edge products that meet the demands of emerging mission needs.

Aircraft Maintenance & Contractor Logistics Support

We are a trusted partner for the US government and its allies in maintaining ISR mission aircraft – as well as a vendor of choice for commercial clients. We hold all required FAA certifications and have effectively and efficiently executed aircraft systems integrations, operations, maintenance, and upgrades since MAG’s inception.

In addition, we offer complete logistics support functions:

  • Engineering and systems integration
  • Test and evaluation
  • Identifying requirements for spare and repair parts
  • FAA- and ISO-certified facilities and processes
  • Material and equipment procurement and shipping
  • Certified technicians, pilots, and ground support personnel
  • Maintenance and integration of weapon and sensor systems

Our nation’s defense and intelligence agencies understand what it will take to maintain a superior force in the future. As recently documented, they must “provide the air component commander and subordinate forces with the all-source intelligence required to conduct full-spectrum cross-domain operations in volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous environments around the globe.”

The challenge is identifying the resources, expert partners, and innovative technologies that will help them succeed — that is in the MAG DNA. We are fully aware of and prepared for the challenges of new and emerging global threats. We have the manpower, strategy, expertise, facilities, and operations that make us a powerful airborne ISR mission partner for the US government and its allies.
