Huntsville, AL – March 29, 2019 – The Honorable Heidi Shyu, prior Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology, visited MAG Aerospace at their Huntsville, Alabama location.

During this visit, Ms. Shyu conducted a walkthrough of MAG’s Huntsville office and SUAS service depot where all Army Ravens and Pumas are serviced.  MAG gave a brief overview of the history of the company and the services it provides.

MAG’s Huntsville location provides the full spectrum of services for the Army’s SUAS program. The location provides operator training, engineering flight test support, logistics, depot level repair, and complete engineering support.

The Honorable Heidi Shyu is the Chairman of the Board for Roboteam North America, member of the Board of Trustees for Aerospace Corporation and the UCLA Dean’s Executive Board.  She was recently elected to the National Academy of Engineering.  Previously, she was the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology, ASA(ALT), from Sept. 2012 to Jan.  2016.
