Woodbridge, Virginia – August 6, 2017 – MAG Aerospace directors Nate Holton and Matthew Schleich attended the 5th annual “31 Tattoos”, an event that honors the loss of 31 SEAL’s, Special Tactics Airmen, Army Aviators, and K-9 that were lost when their CH-47 Chinook (Extortion 17) was shot down in Afghanistan by enemy forces on August 6th, 2011. The “31 Tattoos” event was founded and hosted by Craig Morrison (owner of Valhalla Tattoos) in conjunction with the Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF), and other sponsors. This event attracts hundreds of current/former special operators and other local community members in a day of remembrance and celebration. One hundred percent of all money raised goes to SOWF, one of the highest ranked charities and an organization MAG has sponsored on past occasions.
Over $30,000 was raised from this year’s event with every penny going to the SOWF, making this the most successful event to date.
