Supporting a diverse and inclusive workforce ensures that everyone can fully contribute to the organization’s successes and helps us be more effective at Making The World Smaller And Safer!
MAG’s Diversity & Inclusion Council has been working to implement initiatives that reinforce this commitment and our core values. MAG recently partnered with Best Buddies, a global non-profit dedicated to the professional inclusion of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We’re very proud that Erin Thompson joined The MAG Team last month from Best Buddies as a part of their integrated employment efforts. Erin works with the Legal, HR, and Facilities teams at HQ in Fairfax and has been a wonderful addition to our staff.
“True to MAG’s core values, Erin Thompson has hit the ground running here at MAG! She has been eager to learn more about the Company and continuously takes on new projects with quick turnarounds. She has become a key member of Legal, Human Resources, and Facilities, and her work has already made a difference here at HQ! Thank you for all you do, Erin!”
– Daniel Enos, Senior Counsel
The MAG Team further expanded our partnership with Best Buddies by fundraising and taking part in the Best Buddies Friendship Walk on the National Mall on Saturday, April 30th. The support from our MAG community was incredible and as an organization we raised over $42,000 and earned the spot as the Top Corporate Fundraiser! The generosity of our staff, their family & friends, and employees fundraising efforts is evidence of what we can accomplish when we come together and stand by our core values of SERVE. WIN. PERFORM.
MAG was proud to support and participate in the Best Buddies Friendship Walk in person, on the National Mall, and virtually. From Columbia, to Mexico, to Florida – MAG employees took time out to walk and recognize the amazing work Best Buddies does across the U.S.
